Great Simple Dessert Recipes

Here you will find easy to make dessert recipes,Spanish desserts,and great desserts from around the world. Some people are so fond of desserts they exclaim, "Life is uncertain, have dessert first". In my opinion, if hosting a dinner party, you should focus your "cooking energy" on either the main-course recipe or the dessert recipe to prevent "burn-out"! However, there are some very simple, yet elegant recipes here that can be prepared in advance to allow you more time to focus on another part of the meal. Dessert here in Spain can be as simple as fresh fruit in season to "Arroz con Leche" or a flan. Different cultures view dessert differently. For example, in Germany or France desserts are known for being elaborate and a significant part of the meal; however in Spain it is more of a compliment to the end of the meal like a cordial.
